ATELIER MATERI, a French Fragrance house founded in 2019, combines consummate craftsmanship with a contemporary vision. Inspired by the power and raw beauty of nature, Atelier Materi creations are a unique fusion of substance and style, of high quality materials and a minimalist, modern aesthetic.

Each ATELIER MATERI perfume explores a single raw material with the focus of bringing out the essence and beauty of that raw material. Whether precious, traditional or unusual, it is painstakingly refined by the perfumer to highlight its intimate nuances and innermost secrets in a unique, unisex fragrance.

Véronique Le Bihan is passionate about perfume as well as architecture and design: she views all three disciplines from the same angle, the object being to create beauty and pleasure out of matter. This creative process is the very wellspring of her inspiration.

Growing up up in Brittany, her most vivid childhood memories are of the scents of the salty seaside air, sun-warmed sand and fresh-cut grass. After twelve years spent developing cosmetics and perfumes for various clients, she decided to create her own brand, a discreet luxury brand in keeping with her ethical, social and environmental values.

I put a great deal of myself, my emotions, into my creations, each of which is unique and conceived to bring out the very best in the raw materials through the painstaking efforts of experts and specialized craftsmen.”
