Anamcara by Dusita at Indigo Perfumery  

Conceived as an olfactory expression of true friendship, prompted by the community spirit of the Facebook fragrance group Eau My Soul, Anamcara is an exceptional Fruity-Floral-Woody composition based on precious natural ingredients. Its name means “soul friend” in Gaelic, a person to whom one would turn for life advice and spiritual guidance. Pissara Umavijani, Dusita's founder and perfumer, wanted to create a fragrance that would unite people in spite of borders and barriers, gracefully radiating aesthetic pleasure, emotional bliss, and clarity of mind.

In the opening, an invigorating Blood Orange announces a profoundly comforting Orange Flower, accented by the delicate floral nuances of Pissara's Freesia Accord. In the heart, her Tea Accord, embellished by Peach/Apricot tones and Vanilla, harmonically blends with the spectacular floralcy and inherent fruitiness of Rose de Mai, Tuberose, and night-blooming Jasmine. In the base, she opted for serene woodiness: earthy Patchouli, meditative Cedarwood Virginia, and grassy Haitian Vetiver.

Top Notes: Italian Blood Orange, Tunisian Orange Flower, Freesia Accord

Heart Notes: Tea Accord, embellished by Peach/Apricot tones, Vanilla Absolute from Madagascar, Rose de Mai, Tuberose Absolute from India and night-blooming Jasmine Sambac from India

Base Notes: Patchouli from Indonesia, Sandalwood from Australia, mediative Cedarwood Virginia, and grassy Vetiver from Haiti
